Xavier vs. Providence on Friday, Feb. 5 is the marquee event of the 4th Annual Teal Power Shootout
CINCINNATI - Xavier Athletics and Xavier Women's Basketball have partnered with the Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Greater Cincinnati for a second consecutive year to spread awareness and participate in the initiative to fight ovarian cancer.
The basketball game vs. Providence on Friday, Feb. 5 will serve as the marquee event of the 4th Annual Teal Power Shootout, a series of local basketball programs participating in the initiative. Tip-off is scheduled for 8 p.m. and will be nationally-televised on FS1.
The first 500 fans in attendance will receive a teal Xavier t-shirt.
You can register online for the Teal Power Shootout at facebook.com/OCAGC. You can purchase single-game tickets for the Xavier vs. Providence game online through the Xavier Athletics Ticket Office or in person at the box office.
The Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Greater Cincinnati is a local, non-profit ovarian cancer resource organization whose mission is to create public awareness to the signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer, to provide support, resources, and education to ovarian cancer survivors and caregivers; and to fund research focused on early detection and a cure.
