Season ticket holders will receive a special edition bobblehead
CINCINNATI - Xavier University is excited to announce a special bobblehead promotion to honor former women's basketball standouts and 2016-17 Athletic Hall of Fame inductees Amber Harris and Ta'Shia Phillips during the upcoming women's basketball season. Season ticket holders will receive the bobblehead as their season ticket holder gift for the 2016-17 season.
Season ticket holders will receive a bobblehead of Harris and Phillips with each Xavier women's basketball season ticket purchased. Fans that have already purchased their season tickets for the upcoming season will receive the bobblehead when they are distributed during the BIG EAST portion of the home schedule after they are inducted in early January; no action is required.
Fans that are not current ticket holders, but are interested in receiving the bobblehead, are encouraged to buy their season tickets today! Season tickets are $80 and include all 15 home games along with the bobblehead. Fans interested in a four-pack of season tickets can purchase the four-pack for just $200. Fans can purchase season tickets online through GoXavier.com or by calling 513-745-4987.
It is fitting that Amber Harris and Ta'Shia Phillips will be honored in the same Hall of Fame induction class. The duo led Xavier to the most successful five-year run in school history. Xavier made it to five NCAA Tournaments during their careers, including three seasons playing together. XU reached the 2010 NCAA Elite Eight with Harris and Phillips leading the way, coming up just two points shy of Stanford in a heartbreaking loss that kept XU out of its first-ever Final Four. Harris arrived at Xavier first and began her career in the 2006-07 season but sat out the 2008-09 season due to injury, so the pair fittingly ended their careers together as seniors in the 2010-11 season.
