Men's tennis signs impressive four-star standout for 2017-18 season.
CINCINNATI --- Xavier University head tennis coach Doug Matthews announced the signing of Brett Winters from Center Court Academy in Rivervale, N.J. Winters, listed as a four-star recruit on Tennisrecruiting.net, has been ranked as high as No. 148 nationally in 2016.
In addition to his national rankings, Winters was listed at No. 7 in New Jersey and No. 26 in the Middle Atlantic region.
"Brett is a huge pick up for our program," said Matthews. "His work ethic is going to be contagious for our team. He has been quickly climbing the national rankings and I expect him to be an impact player for our team as a freshman. I am excited to welcome Brett to the Xavier tennis family."
Matthews is still working on completing this men's tennis recruiting class.
