Sophomore finished runner-up at FGCU Eagle Invitational
NEW YORK – Sophomore Hanna Lee was named BIG EAST Golfer of the Week on Thursday for the first time in her career after leading XU with a runner-up finish from Feb. 12-14 at the FGCU Eagle Invitational in Estero, Fla.
The Cincinnati-native shot 74, 72, 74 (220, +4), including a team-low par round on day two, for her best-ever finish (2nd) at Stonybrook Golf Course (6,135 yards, par-72).
Xavier finished fourth overall out of 15 competing teams at the tournament.
The Musketeers are back in action, beginning tomorrow at the three-day Rio Verde Invitational.
