Musketeer senior finished tied for seventh at Little Rock First Tee Classic
NEW YORK – Shane Crutchfield was named BIG EAST Golfer of the Week on Thursday after finishing tied for seventh at the Little Rock/Arkansas State Women's Golf Classic from March 28-29.Â
The senior from St. Petersburg, Fla. shot 76, 77, 73 [226, +10] to secure her fourth top-10 of the year and first since October. It was the first BIG EAST weekly award for Crutchfield, who has been named BIG EAST Golfer of the Month three times in her career.
Crutchfield also helped the Musketeers to an eighth-place team finish, which marked the eighth time in nine tournaments XU has finished eighth or better.
Xavier returns to the course April 8-9 at the Murray State Invitational in Murray, Ky.
