No. 2 Women’s Tennis To Face No. 7 Villanova in BIG EAST Championship Quarterfinals

The women are 2-0 in quarterfinal matches since joining the BIG EAST.
CAYCE, S.C. – The No. 2 seeded Xavier women's tennis team face the No. 7 seeded Villanova in the 2016 BIG EAST Women's Tennis Championship Presented by Jeep Friday morning at 9 a.m. at the Cayce Tennis & Fitness Center.
Xavier was granted a first round bye with the second seed and awaited the winner of the first round matchup of Villanova and Butler. The Wildcats downed the Bulldogs, 4-0, to move to the quarterfinals.
The winner will move on to the semifinals on Saturday to play the winner of St. John's/Seton Hall match at 9 a.m.
