Musketeers fall victim to poor weather for second time this week
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Xavier baseball's Saturday afternoon conference matchup at Butler has been cancelled due to inclement weather in the forecast.
The Musketeers (17-26, 4-3 BIG EAST) will return to action Sunday, playing BU in a doubleheader at Bulldog Park. Start time will be 11 a.m.
Xavier took game one in the series on Friday behind a strong pitching performance by Zac Lowther and some late heroics by David Morton, who connected for a pinch hit single to bring in the go-ahead runs in the ninth.
