13th Annual HORAN All For One Fund Golf Classic A Hit

Over 320 golfers hit the links at Kenwood Country Club to support Xavier student-athletes
CINCINNATI – The 13th Annual HORAN All For One Fund Golf Classic took place on Monday, August 15 at Kenwood Country Club. Over 320 golfers hit the links throughout a morning and afternoon wave, despite a brief rain delay during each session.

During the post-round reception, participants had the opportunity to hear remarks from Xavier Athletic Director Greg Christopher and Terry Horan, President & CEO of HORAN, the title partner of the golf classic.
"We are grateful for HORAN's continued partnership with Xavier Athletics, specifically with the All For One Fund Golf Classic. Terry's leadership of the company and his stance that Xavier is a special place – one worth investing in – is something we believe in and embrace," said Christopher. "In addition to HORAN's leadership support, the continued efforts of all of our partners involved with the HORAN All For One Fund Golf Classic provide vital resources that enable Xavier student-athletes to succeed."

Xavier basketball head coaches Brian Neal and Chris Mack also provided a provided a preview of the quickly approaching 2016-17 season during the reception.
"It was a great day and a wonderful opportunity to raise funds that will support 300 student-athletes and enhance their experiences at Xavier," said Alicia Lawrence, Director of the All For One Fund. "The HORAN All For One Fund Golf Classic is an opportunity for fellowship and camaraderie, while celebrating a special group of student-athletes."

Next year's event date will be announced early in 2017.

Since its inception in 2004, the outing has generated well over $1M in net proceeds. These funds directly support Xavier's 18 varsity sports programs and 300 remarkable student-athletes.
