Women's Golf Announces 2016-17 Schedule

CINCINNATI – Head coach Breanna Patz announced the 2016-17 schedule today, featuring a total of 10 tournaments. Four fall and six spring events make up the schedule, including trips to seven different states.

The Musketeers kick of the fall schedule with a trip to South Carolina for the Golfweek Program Challenge from Sept. 11-13. The women wrap up the month with a trip to East Lansing for the Mary Fossum Invitational from September 24-25.

The Musketeers then head to the Yale Women's Fall Intercollegiate from Oct. 7-8, their first trip there since the 2014 season. The team travels to South Carolina again, returning to the Palmetto Intercollegiate for a second straight year from Oct. 23-25.

After a winter break, Xavier returns to the course mid-February for the All There August Challenge in New Braunfels, Texas from Feb. 13-15. The Musketeers then travel out west to the Rio Verde Invitational for a fourth straight year from Feb. 24-26 in Arizona.

The longest travel month begins when the team heads to Texas at the beginning of March for the UTRGV Invitational in McCallen from Mar. 6-7. The women then head to Deland, Florida for the Babs Steffens Intercollegiate from March 25-27.

The month of April starts when Xavier heads to Bloomington for the Indiana Invitational from Apr. 8-9. The women then have the BIG EAST Championship from Apr. 21-23 at the Callawassie Island Golf Club in South Carolina. The team will be looking to improve upon a third place finish in last year's championship.
