Men's Tennis Looks for Success at WMU Invitational

Seven Musketeers to Compete This Weekend
Cincinnati—The men's tennis team travels to Kalamazoo, Michigan this weekend for the WMU/Vredevelt Invitational hosted by Western Michigan. The competition takes place at the West Hills Athletic Club.
The two-day tournament will be a hidden duel formant, meaning the teams will play duel matches, but there will be no official team scores. All of the results will count for the purpose of individual records and rankings. The Musketeers will be playing against Western Michigan, Illinois State and Cleveland State.
Jeremy Schneider, Matt Bishop, Gabriel Araujo, Jack Dykema, Matthew Graft, Nate Dell, and Nick Werner will be the seven Musketeers competing in the tournament this weekend.
Last year, Xavier came away with a championship in doubles and a third- and seventh-place finish in singles play.
Currently, the men have an 11-8 singles record and a 4-2 doubles record for the fall after competing in the Greater Cincinnati Invitational to open the season. The Musketeers are looking to improve with a full weekend of play.
