Senior goalkeeper tied a career-high with five saves at No. 12 Virginia
NEW YORK – Senior goalkeeper Jake Ciricillo was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Monday after tying a career-high with five saves at No. 12 Virginia this past week.
The Cincinnati, Ohio native and Sycamore graduate played the full 110 in a 1-1 double overtime draw at No. 12 UVa, facing 18 shots and six on frame. His only goal allowed came off a rebound on a corner kick.
Ciricillo has made the start in two of Xavier's three matches thus far, compiling a 1-0-1 record with a 0.90 GAA.
