Cross Country Earns USTFCCCA Academic Team Honors

Women’s team boasts 3.57 GPA, men post 3.10 GPA
NEW ORLEANS – The Xavier men's and women's cross country teams earned U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Team honors on Thursday afternoon.
Qualifications for the recognition include a grade point average higher than 3.0. The Bowling Green men led the nation with a 3.71 GPA, while Georgia State's women's squad had a 3.85 GPA.
The Xavier women posted a 3.57 GPA and the men recorded a 3.10 GPA.
Xavier was one of five BIG EAST schools to have both teams recognized by the USTFCCCA.
