Track and Field Programs Earn USTFCCCA All-Academic Team Honors

Men's team posts a 3.13 GPA, women's team records a 3.59 GPA
NEW ORLEANS - The Xavier track and field teams earned U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Team honors on Thursday. Both the men's and women's team were recognized as the women's team posted a 3.59 grade point average and the men's team recorded a 3.13 grade point average.Â
All told, 360 NCAA Division I teams (218 women's teams; 142 men's teams) were honored for their academics by the USTFCCCA.
The University of San Francisco posted the highest women's team GPA for the second consecutive year, recording a 3.80 GPA. New Mexico posted the highest men's team GPA with a 3.53 GPA.
