
Women's Soccer Adds Three Transfers for Spring 2018

Three Ohio natives join Nate Lie and the Musketeers
CINCINNATI – Xavier women's soccer head coach Nate Lie has added three transfers for the Spring 2018 semester. Lie added Grace Bahr from the University of Wisconsin, Claire Fisher from the University of Tennessee and Sabrina Kunimoto from the University of Delaware. All three newcomers are natives of Ohio.
Grace Bahr comes to the Musketeers after spending two seasons with the Badgers. As a sophomore, the midfielder played in 12 games, recording two shots including a look on-frame. As a freshman, she appeared in 22 games, finishing her rookie season with three points on a goal and an assist, including scoring the game-winner against Loyola Chicago.
Bahr is a native of Broadview Heights, Ohio where she attended Brecksville Broadview Heights High School and played for Internationals S.C. in Cleveland, Ohio. Bahr participated in the United States Women's National Team youth system, participating in the Under-19 women's national camp.
Bahr is studying business undecided at Xavier. She is the daughter of John and Tia Bahr and has a younger brother, Zachary. Her father played collegiate soccer at Ohio State.
Claire Fisher spent the 2017 season with the Tennessee Volunteers, appearing in seven games as a freshman. She played a season-high 23 minutes in her first collegiate game, a 6-1 win over ETSU. The midfielder recorded the first shot of her career a during a 4-0 win over Georgia.
Fisher is a native of Dayton, Ohio, and a graduate of Beavercreek High School. She also played for Ohio Elite Soccer based out of West Chester, Ohio. Ohio Elite won consecutive championships in the Champions League ECNL during Fisher's time with the squad. Fisher also earned an invite to the U-14 National Camp.
At Beavercreek, Fisher was also a member of the varsity cross country team, helping the squad place fourth at state.
Fisher is studying exercise science at Xavier. She is the daughter of Jason and Lisa Fisher and has four siblings, Anna, Jesse, Bryson and Rigel.
Sabrina Kunimoto spent her freshman season with the Delaware Blue Hens in 2017. The forward/midfielder appeared in five games during her rookie campaign, playing a season-high 18 minutes at Princeton.
The native of Cleveland, Ohio was a four-year starter at Hathaway Brown High School where she helped lead the team to the regional finals as a senior. Kunimoto earned All-State honors as a junior and senior, including a nomination to the first team during her senior season. She was also named All-Greater Cleveland four times.
Kunimoto also played for the Ambassadors F.C. Club Team in Cleveland, winning two Ohio North State Cup championships. During her time with Ambassadors F.C., the squad ranked No. 1 in Ohio North and No. 7 in the region.
Kunimoto is studying Life Science for Business at Xavier. She is the daughter of Kim and Pauline Kunimoto and has an older sister, Emma, and a younger brother.
