Nick Zwack Named to BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

NEW YORK - Freshman lefty Nick Zwack was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll for the first time in his XU career on Monday after posting a career-high nine strikeouts last week in a win over Wright State.
Zwack, a pitcher from Monticello, Minn., picked up first career win in a start against the Raiders last Tuesday as Xavier won 2-0. The southpaw tossed a season-high six innings and struck out a season-high nine. He did not allow a run and limited the Raiders to just two singles and a walk in 88 pitches.
The Musketeers (9-17) are scheduled to get back to action on Tuesday, hosting Eastern Kentucky for a 3 p.m. game at Hayden FIeld.
