Xavier Posts 14 Top-10 Finishes at Hilltopper Relays

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - Xavier track and field posted 14 top-10 finishes at the Hilltopper Relays on Friday afternoon. The meet was hosted by Western Kentucky University at the Charles M. Reuter Track & Field Complex.
3. Madeline Dingle - 3,000-meter run (10:36.34)
3. Alondra Hoyos - 1,500-meter run (4:42.44)
3. 4x400 relay (Davenport, Robinson, Magrane, Johnson, V.) - 4:02.82
6. Claire Hathaway - Triple jump (10.20m)
7. Abby Fioresi - 800-meter run (2:17.38)
7. Anna Kostarellis - 1,500-meter run (4:46.34)
8. Kara Robinson - 100-meter hurdles (14.84)
9. Sarah Clark - 800-meter run (2:19.60)
2. Grant Stapleton - 800-meter run (1:53.46)

"I think a number of our athletes were effected by some meet management issues that were out of their control. We need to do a better job not letting delays and other logistical issues get in the way of great performances. I'm happy we competed this weekend instead of taking it off because we did learn from the experiences as a team. I'm also glad that it happened now rather than at the BIG EAST Championships."
