Musketeer Points
Â
What are Musketeer Points used for and how are they determined?
Musketeer Points are used with your AFO Membership Level for away/neutral site games, BIG EAST Championship tickets, NCAA Tournament tickets, and access to exclusive events. For parking, your AFO Membership Level comes first and then, Musketeer Points are used if you qualify for two different lots. Musketeer Points accrue annually and live on your account. An active account is an account that has season tickets to a Xavier sport or has donated to AFO in the previous fiscal year. Reactivating your account is as easy as making a gift to the All For One Fund or purchasing season tickets to a Xavier sport.
Why is the Musketeer Points system important?
The Musketeer Points system is important because it improves overall fairness and equality in the allocation process of Xavier Athletics’ opportunities. It rewards Xavier’s loyal fans and donors who have purchased season tickets and who have supported Xavier athletics by giving to the All For One Fund through annual support, capital support, endowment and scholarship support. The Musketeer Points system also helps new donors obtain seats aligned with their annual gifts and overall contributions to the All For One Fund.
Why do I only get points for purchasing tickets since 2000?
The Cintas Center opened its doors in 2000, marking the next chapter in Xavier Athletics.
I have shared a season ticket account with another season ticket holder and paid him/her the annual per-seat donation and cost of the ticket each year. I made my gift through their account. Do I receive Musketeer Points?
The account holder who purchases the season tickets from the Xavier Athletics Ticket Office receives all Musketeer Points for the years of tickets purchased and all Musketeer Points for all respective AFO per-seat gifts. The All For One Fund strongly encourages each donor and/or season ticket holder to maintain his or her own account.
Where do I find my Musketeer Point total?
You can find your Musketeer Points by accessing your My Musketeer Account on GoXavier.com/MyMusketeers or by calling the AFO at 513-745-3223. Musketeer Points are updated nightly.
I would like to sit with someone during the game but we do not have the same number of points. Will that affect if I get to sit with them during the event?
As always, seat location request can be made and, if possible, Xavier Athletics will honor the requests. To be fair to all Xavier fans, Xavier Athletics uses the account with the lowest point total to seat a group during an event.
How can I improve my seat location?
The best way to improve your seat location at any ticketed Xavier Athletics event is to improve your respective rank within the Musketeer Points System. The highest weighted gifts are those made in the current fiscal year. You will have the ability to upgrade your seat location during our upgrade process in late spring or early summer.
Can I transfer my Musketeer Points?
Musketeer Points may not be transferred from one person to another person or one account to another account. (An exception may be made of a one-time allocation of points if separate accounts need to be produced.) Also, the transfer of points by virtue of a will, trust or other estate-planning document is not allowed. In the event of the death of an account holder, the surviving spouse/partner retains the Musketeer Points, provided the spouse/partner was on the account prior to the time of death. Please contact the Xavier Athletics Ticket Office to add/remove a name from an account or split a group account.
What about prior policies and agreements?
The Musketeer Points system supersedes all previously communicated ticket allocation policies including, but not limited to; any grandfather clauses, verbal agreements and previous AFO or Xavier ticket policies.
What about combined/pooled accounts?
Should you choose to keep a combined/pooled account for tickets with other fans, please be aware that only one individual from the group is recognized as the contact person, and only that individual receives the Musketeer Points.
