Xavier Pep Band [2022]
The Xavier University Pep Band (The X Band) is a performance ensemble, with its members serving as musical ambassadors for the university. This ensemble performs at home men's and women's home basketball games and special performances at other on-campus university events. The band travels to the BIG EAST Tournament and NCAA tournament games for men's and women's basketball.
The group is run by a Band Board comprised of students wanting to get more involved in the X band. The Pep Band reaches well over 750,000 people each season through its live performances at the games and millions through the broadcast media of television and radio.

 HOW TO PARTICIPATE |
There are no tryouts for the X Band, any skill level is welcome to participate. If you do not own your own instrument the school can loan one to you. There is no class component to the pep band. Stop by our table at Club Day in August to learn more!
Practice times are Monday nights from 7:30pm-9:30pm in Edgecliff Hall.
During the basketball season the band meets one hour before each event.
