Musketeers End UC Invite in Fourth

CRYSTAL RIVER, Fla. – The Xavier women’s golf team finished the UC Spring Invitational in fourth place with a team score of 615 (+39). The third round was cancelled on Sunday due to poor weather conditions. Junior Christine Cash and freshman Shane Crutchfield each finished tied for 19th place with a score of 153 (+9).
Sophomore Abby Smith fired a second round score of 79 to record a final score of 154 (+10), finishing tied for 22nd place. Breanna Patz carded a 12-over-par 156, and finished the tournament tied for 33rd. Ariel McNair finished with a total score of 161 (+17).
Kristin Tan had a season-low 81-84=165 (+21) and finished a season best tied for 66th. Alexandra Lake rounded out the Musketeers with a score of 166 (+22) and tied for 72nd place. Tan and Lake each competed as individuals.
Host school, University of Cincinnati took the title with a score of 604 (+28) while Megan Kiley of Florida Southern had a tournament-low score of 143 (-1).
