Xavier Basketball Alum Tu Holloway Selected for NBA D-League All-Star Game

Former Musketeer is averaging 20.8 points per game for Texas Legends
NEW YORK – Former Xavier point guard Tu Holloway ('12) was named to the NBA Development League All-Star Game on Tuesday, officially replacing Elliot Williams in the Western Conference All-Star lineup. The game, which tips off at 2 p.m. ET at Toronto's Ricoh Coliseum on Saturday, Feb. 13, will air live on NBA TV and NBA TV Canada.
Holloway is playing 35.7 minutes per game for the Legends, while putting up an average of 20.8 points per game – a number that ranks eighth in the D-League. Holloway also contributes 5.9 assists per game and 3.1 rebounds per game while shooting 38.1 percent from three-point range.
Playing for former UC star Nick Van Exel, he has helped lead the Legends to a 16-14 record at the break, while directing the fifth-best offense in the D-League (106.7 points per game).
A native of Hempstead, N.Y., Holloway has played in the NBA Summer League, Turkey, Belgium and Puerto Rico since graduating from Xavier in 2012.
While playing for XU, his teams won 100 games in four seasons (25 wins per year), while making four NCAA Tournament appearances and advancing to three NCAA Tournament Sweet 16's. Xavier also won three Atlantic 10 Championships with Holloway on the roster.
