Men's Basketball Remains in Top-10 for 10th Straight Week

Musketeers check in at No. 8 in the AP Poll and No. 7 in the USA Today Coaches Poll
CINCINNATI – Xavier men's basketball (22-3, 10-3 BIG EAST) remained in the top-10 of both major polls on Monday, checking in at No. 8 in the AP Top 25 and No. 7 in the USA Today Coaches Poll.
The Musketeers, coming off a 1-1 week, have now been in the top-10 of the AP Poll for 10 straight weeks.
The BIG EAST boasts three schools in the AP Top 25, including Villanova (1), Xavier (8) and Providence (23). The rankings are nearly identical in the USA Today Coaches Poll, with Villanova at first, Xavier at seventh and Providence at 20th.
This marks Xavier's 13th straight week in the AP Top 25 and its 12th straight week in the USA Today Coaches Poll.
It is also the fourth season Xavier has earned a spot in the AP Top 10 since 2008.
No. 8/7 Xavier returns to action against No. 23/20 Providence on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. ET at Cintas Center. The game will be broadcast live on FS1.
