Myles Davis Honored by the BIG EAST Conference

CINCINNATI – Junior guard Myles Davis has been named to the BIG EAST Conference Weekly Honor Roll for the third time this season. Davis averaged 15.5 points, 5.5 assists and 3.0 rebounds for Xavier's two games, which included 16 points and six assists in a 90-83 win over then-No.1 Villanova.

Six Musketeers have been honored by the BIG EAST Conference this season, including five that have been named at least once to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll: Sophomore Trevon Bluiett (five times), junior Jalen Reynolds (three times), junior Myles Davis (three times) and seniors Remy Abell (once) and James Farr (once) have each earned the honor at least once this season. Trevon Bluiett has also been named the BIG EAST Conference Player of the Week twice, Feb. 22 and Jan. 18. In addition, freshman Edmond Sumner has been named BIG EAST Freshman of the Week five times.

No. 5 Xavier, 25-4 overall and 13-4 in the BIG EAST Conference, plays its final regular season game this Saturday at Cintas Center. XU hosts Creighton at 2:30 p.m. on "Senior Day" for the Musketeers.
