Bracket for Puerto Rico Tip-Off Revealed

Musketeers open play against Missouri
CINCINNATI --- The final bracket for the 2016 Puerto Rico Tip-Off on Nov. 17-20 was announced today. Xavier plays its first game on Thursday, Nov. 17 vs. Missouri at 1 p.m. ET on ESPNU at the Coliseo Roberto Clemente in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
ESPN Events, a division of ESPN, owns and operates early-season basketball events worldwide beginning in November and running through the Christmas holiday. All 12 games of the Puerto Rico Tip-Off will be televised on the ESPN Networks (ESPN2, ESPNU and ESPN3).
Xavier's second game in the tournament will be against either Clemson or Davidson on Friday, Nov. 18. If XU wins on Thursday, the Friday game will be at 1:30 p.m. ET on ESPNU. If XU loses on Thursday, the Friday game will be at 11:30 a.m. ET on ESPNU.
The 12th and final game of the tournament will be the championship game on Sunday, Nov. 20 at 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN2.
Xavier University will return to the Puerto Rico Tip-Off on Nov. 17-20, 2016, in San Juan, P.R. The impressive field includes 2016 NCAA Tournament teams Xavier, Oklahoma and Northern Iowa in addition to Arizona State, Clemson, Missouri, Davidson and Tulane.
Xavier won the 2008 Puerto Rico Tip-Off, defeating Missouri and Virginia Tech in its first two games before taking down then-No. 13 Memphis in the championship game. C.J. Anderson was named the MVP of the 2008 Puerto Rico Tip-Off. One of the biggest highlights of the tournament was arguably the most dramatic game-winning shot in Xavier history, a half-court game-winner vs. Virginia Tech at the buzzer in overtime from Dante' Jackson.
2016 PUERTO RICO TIP-OFF SCHEDULE - All 12 games of the 2016 Puerto Rico Tip-Off will be televised on the ESPN Networks (ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPN3).
