Tipoff Tailgate on Opening Night Is Cancelled

CINCINNATI - Due to the forecasted cold weather, the Tipoff Tailgate originally scheduled on the Sedler Plaza at Cintas Center on Nov. 10 has been canceled. FOX 19 will now broadcast live from Duff's from 6-6:30 p.m.
Joe Danneman and Jeremy Rauch from FOX 19 Sports will give fans a preview of the night's action and the entire 2017-18 season ahead for the Musketeers.
Tip-off is at 7 p.m. as Xavier takes on Morehead State. Tickets are still available and can be purchased at GoXavier.com or any Ticketmaster outlet. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. The first 3,000 fans in attendance will receive a Xavier men's basketball schedule poster.
Opening Night will also be a night to honor the U.S. Armed Forces. In celebration of Veteran's Day, and to show appreciation to the men and women who have served or are currently serving in the U.S. Armed Forces, Xavier will provide two complimentary tickets while supplies last. The offer is available to all military and government service personnel with an active military ID or retired personnel in person at the Xavier Athletics Ticket Office through Thursday, Nov.9.Â
