Marshall Earns BIG EAST Conference Freshman Of The Week Honors

Marshall has posted two straight double-figure scoring games.
CINCINNATI --- Freshman Naji Marshall has been named BIG EAST Conference Freshman of the Week after averaging 11.5 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game for Xavier's two games this past week, at Villanova on Jan. 10 and vs. Creighton on Jan. 13.
Marshall is coming off his second straight double-figure scoring game with 10 points vs. Creighton. Marshall had a 13-point game at Villanova, all of which came in the second half. He now has seven double-figure scoring games this season.
Xavier, 16-3 overall and 4-2 in the BIG EAST, hosts St. John's on Wednesday night at 8:30 p.m.
