Trevon Bluiett Named On Three More All-America Teams

Bluiett is a consensus All-American.
CINCINNATI --- Xavier University senior guard Trevon Bluiett, a consensus All-America selection, has added three more All-America honors today to his list of awards, including CBS Sports Second Team All-American and a spot on the 10-member John R. Wooden Award presented by Wendy's All-America Team. He also was named on the Lute Olson All-America Team, which is selected by CollegeInsider.com.
Bluiett, a 2018 Associated Press Second Team All-American, has also earned 2018 Second Team All-America honors from the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC), the USBWA (United States Basketball Writers Association), Sporting News, USA Today, CBS Sports, NBC Sports and NCAA.com.
Bluiett, who ranked sixth in the BIG EAST in scoring at 19.3 ppg., scored 2,261 points in his four-year career, which ranks second on XU's all-time scoring list. His 762 career rebounds rank 11th in Xavier history. Blueitt is one of only 13 players in BIG EAST Conference history to earn BIG EAST First Team honors three times. He also earned a spot on the All-BIG EAST Tournament team for a third straight year.
Bluiett, who ranked third in the BIG EAST in 3-point field goals per game at 3.0, holds the Xavier career record (319) and single season record (105 in 2017-18) for 3-point field goals made. In addition, he shares the single-game 3-point field goal record with nine in a game at Cincinnati his junior year and hit eight more in win over Seton Hall this past season.
