Following a successful non-conference campaign, Xavier entered BIG EAST play at 7-1-2, the best mark since going 7-1-1 in non-conference play in 2013. The Musketeers were on a six-match unbeaten streak going into the first match at Villanova.
On the road at Villanova, the Musketeers fell, 1-0, despite holding a 10-shot advantage for the match, moving to 7-2-2 on the season.
Xavier returned home for the next two matches, moving to 8-2-2 overall and 1-1 in BIG EAST play with a 3-1 win over Creighton.
Sydney Schembri struck early, scoring on the rebound of a Brooke Sroka shot to put Xavier ahead 1-0 in the first 15 minutes. The Musketeers extended the lead to two on a goal from Rachel Butler, putting away a shot from Jenna Prathapa that rebounded off the goalkeeper to give Xavier the 2-0 lead midway through the first.
Shortly before halftime, Creighton got a goal back, sending the game into halftime with Xavier leading 2-1. The Musketeers held onto the one-goal advantage until the 68th minute when Brooke Sroka shot from the left side of the box, tucking the ball into the far corner for the 3-1

Xavier closed out the homestand by moving to 2-1 in BIG EAST with a ninth win, after topping Seton Hall, 5-0, the Musketeers' largest victory over a Division I opponent in over a decade.
Brooke Sroka scored from Jackie Richards in the third minute, putting Xavier ahead, 1-0, before the match went into a weather delay due to lightning in the area less than 10 minutes into the match.
Following a 35-minute delay, Xavier picked up where it left off offensively, with Molly McLaughlin scoring on a header off a corner kick in the 22nd minute and Samantha Dewey scoring less than 10 minutes later to set the halftime score at 3-0 in favor of Xavier.
Right out of the break, the Musketeers got on the board again, with Hayley Jakovich scoring two minutes into the second half on a header. Xavier tallied again less than five minutes later, on a second for Samantha Dewey for the 5-0 lead.

Xavier returned to the road, falling to 2-2 in BIG EAST play after falling 2-1, at Georgetown. A pair of first half penalty kicks gave the Hoyas a 2-0 lead at the break, an advantage that held until the 86th minute when Samantha Dewey scored her 12th of the season from Hayley Jakovich to cut the lead back to 2-1.
Xavier out-shot the Hoyas 10-4, a season-low on shots for GU, which marked the first time since playing No. 1 Virginia on Sept. 5 that Georgetown was out-shot by its opponent. It was only the third time to that point in the season that the Hoyas did not hold the advantage on shots, the other coming against then No. 10 Duke.
The loss to the Hoyas was Xavier's final setback of the regular season.
