Amy Siefring, who is now known by her married name Amy Meyer, helped the women's basketball team win the 1993 MCC Tournament, earning a spot in its first NCAA tournament. She was a 1996 GTE/CoSIDA Academic All-America Second Team All-District selection and was chosen to the 1996 All-Atlantic 10 Second Team and 1993 MCC All-Tournament Team. She scored 1,340 points in her career, which ranks 15th on XU's all-time scoring list. In her four years at XU, the Musketeers compiled 70 wins, including two straight 20-win seasons. Siefring led the team in scoring her senior season with an 18.3 average, which ranked her third overall in the Atlantic 10 Conference. She was named to the MCC Academic Honor Roll twice and was also a member of the A-10 Academic Honor Roll her senior season.
