Academics
The Kevin and Georgette Crawford Student-Athlete Academic Center, located on the second floor of Cintas Center, opened in August of 2015. The new 8,000-square foot academic center allows Xavier to give all of its nearly 350 student-athletes convenient access to academic resources. There is a computer lab, two private study rooms for meetings with tutors and learning specialists, a conference room that fills a variety of needs - including a quality space to meet with recruits and families. The center also includes office space for the Xavier Student-Athlete Academic Support Services Staff.
The SAASS Office offers one-on-one academic advising to student-athletes, which involves academic monitoring and support, as well as assistance with class registration and course selection. The office also oversees both a freshman and upperclassmen objective based learning program.
