Justin Doellman, who started all four years as a Musketeer basketball standout, was a part of three NCAA Tournament teams, including as a freshman starter for XU's first-ever NCAA Elite Eight team in 2004.

Doellman was a starter on the Xavier teams that won four Atlantic 10 Conference Tournament games on the way to A-10 Championships in 2004 and 2006 as well as berths in the 2004 NCAA Tournament Elite Eight, the 2007 NCAA Tournament Second Round and the 2006 NCAA First Round. The 2004 squad, which ended the season on what XU fans still refer to as The Run, defeated then undefeated and No. 1 St. Joseph's 87-67 as part of the A-10 Tournament performance. XU defeated Louisville, Mississippi State and Texas in the 2004 NCAA Tournament before falling 66-63 to Duke in the Musketeers' first-ever NCAA Regional Final appearance.

Doellman started in 123 games out of a possible 132 for his career. Doellman, Xavier's leading rebounder and shot blocker for each of his final three seasons, ranks third in Xavier history for blocked shots with 140 blocks, 21st in rebounding with 708 rebounds and 22nd on XU's all-time scoring list with 1,402 points. Doellman, a 2006-07 First Team All-Atlantic 10 Conference selection, enjoyed a breakout senior year by leading Xavier with 13.7 points per game, 5.5 rebounds a contest and 1.15 blocks per game. He posted career-highs against Rhode Island his senior year with 29 points on 10 made field goals.Â

Doellman has enjoyed a great career playing professionally overseas, including being named MVP of the Spanish League in 2014. Doellman, MVP of the 2014 Eurocup Championship, won the 2014 Eurocup with former XU teammate Romain Sato. He just completed his 12th year of professional basketball, including the last eight seasons in Spain.
