Neal Grsczynski (West Allis, Wis./Central) is leading the way for Xavier. He opened with a 1-over 72 on Friday morning, then shot a 2-over 73 in the afternoon to tie for fifth overall with a two-round total of 145.
Matt Makinson (Coquitlam, B.C./Centennial) is tied for 27th after shooting a 75 in each of Friday's rounds.
Mile Maillet (Bishop, Calif./Union) stands tied for 48th with a 10-over 152 while Tim Smith (Buffalo, N.Y./St. Francis) is tied for 57th with a 153.
Bryon Harger (Marion, Ohio/River Valley) rounds out the Xavier team with a 156 that places him in a tie for 80th.
The Musketeers shot a 299 in the morning and a 298 in the afternoon to card a 597 for the day. Xavier enters Saturday's final round tied with Wisconsin for eighth place, but just one shot in back of seventh place Michigan.
