Men's Golf Takes Fourth at the Xavier Invitational

LOVELAND, Ohio - Three Musketeers finished in a tie for 15th place as the Xavier University men's golf team finished in fourth place at the Xavier Invitational, which was played at the par-72, 6,921-yard Oasis Golf and Country Club in Loveland, Ohio. Akron held off Eastern Kentucky to win by seven shots at 849 (-15).
Sebastian MacLean (69-75-72), Alan Glynn (74-69-73) and Herbert Day (74-68-74) all finished at 216 (E) while Peter O'Neill recovered after a tough first round to finish in a tie for 34th with scores of 80-70-71 - 221 (+5).
Freshman Aaron Siekmann rounded out the scoring with rounds of 74-77-73 - 224 (+8).
Chris Burger, who was playing as an individual, shot rounds of 72-69-79 - 220 (+4).
The Musketeers will be back in action on October 19-20 when the compete in the Memphis Invitational.
