Men's Golf Posts Fourth-Place Finish in Alabama

MOBILE, ALA. – Freshman standout Sebastian MacLean paced the Musketeers with a fourth-place finish after firing rounds of 73-72-77 – 222 (+6) and the Xavier University men’s golf team finished in fourth place at the Mobile Bay Intercollegiate played at Magnolia Grove Falls Golf Course in Mobile, Ala.
Kieran Lovelock put together a solid tournament, fishing 12th after posting rounds of 77-76-72 – 225 (+9). Lovelock’s even-par 72 was XU’s best round on Tuesday’s last day.
Peter O’Neill was three shots behind Lovelock and finished in a tie for 27th while Alan Glynn was one shot behind O’Neill and posted a 31st place finish. Kyle Hodges rounded out the scoring for Xavier, finishing in a tie for 88th.
XU returns to action when the team travels to Huntington, W. Va. To compete in the Marshall Invitational.
