Men's Golf Finishes 12th at the Wolverine Invitational

ANN ARBOR, Mich. - The Xavier University men's golf team fired a final round 292 (+4) and jumped into 12th place at the Wolverine Invitational, which was played at the par-72 Radrick Farms Golf Club in Ann Arbor, Mich. XU finished the tournament with a 25-over par 889.
Alan Glynn was the low man for XU as he shot rounds of 78-69-76 - 223 (+7) to finish in a tie for 39th.
Peter O'Neill, Herbert Day, and Aaron Siekmann were each one shot behind Glynn at 224. Day recovered from a shaky start to shoot rounds of 73 and 72 in the second and third rounds.
The Wolverine was the collegiate debut of Siekmann and saw him shoot rounds of 75-73-73.
The Musketeers are back in action on October 5-6 when the play host to the Xavier Invitational. The annual event will take place at the Oasis Golf and Country Club in Loveland, Ohio.
