Bobcats Best Musketeer Women In Regular Season Finale

CINCINNATI -- The Xavier women's swim team dropped its final meet of the regular season in a 118-78 decision against Ohio Friday evening at the O'Connor Sports Center. For seniors Kari Peglar, Bethanie Griffin, Holly Hoover, and Kerry Wright it was their last meet at XU.
In the 200 Freestyle relay the team of Griffin, Peglar, Anne Frigo, and Lakenn Reynolds took first place with a time of 1:39.93. They were trailed by Lynn Brotherton, Kelsey Richards, Courtney Shields and Randi Windemuller with a time of 1:42.62.
XU took the top three spots in the 150 Breaststroke with Mary Podlaski taking first place, Natalie Hyde placing second, and Haley Pohlman coming in third. XU also took the top three spots in the 400 Free with freshman Courtney Cox taking first, Olivia Wilkes coming in second, and Wright capturing third.
Peglar took second in the 150 Free with a time of 1:25.78.
Xavier will finish off the 2010-2011 campaign at the Atlantic 10 championships. The action begins February 23 in Buffalo N.Y.
