Day Wraps Up NCAA Regional With an Even-Par Round

RADFORD, Va. - Red-shirt senior Herbert Day finished up play Saturday at the NCAA East - Virginia Tech Regional with an even-par round. Day would finish with a tournament total of 11-over-par 227 for a share of 37th place.
Day got things started on the back-nine for the second consecutive round. He began the final round with a bogey on No. 10, but would manage to make birdies on Nos. 12 and 14 before making another bogey on No. 16. Day would go on to make par on the next 11 holes, to finish at even-par 72 on the day.
The individual that advances to the NCAA Championship is Dartmouth's Peter Williamson who fired a tournament total of 3-over-par 219.
