Hanna Lee Named BIG EAST Golfer of the Week

Sophomore won the Rio Verde Invitational on Feb. 28
NEW YORK – Sophomore Hanna Lee was named BIG EAST Golfer of the Week for a second straight time on Friday, earning the award after a career-best performance at the Rio Verde Invitational in Arizona.
Lee continued her hot start of the spring season by winning the Rio Verde Invitational from Feb. 26-28 – her first career victory.
Lee had back-to-back under par rounds (71, 70) to open the tournament and stood 3-under through 36 holes. Her 54-hole score of 217 was also a career low.
The medalist performance followed a second-place showing at the FGCU Eagle Invitational.
