Laura Grossman Named BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week

NEW YORK - Senior Laura Grossman was named the BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week for her on-court performance last week. The outside hitter helped the Musketeers post a 1-1 record last week.
Grossman led the team in kills (34), averaging 4.25 kills per set. She also led the team in digs (32), averaging 4.00 digs per set.Â
The San Juan, Puerto Rico native added a .287 hitting percentage, two assists, nine blocks and one ace.
Grossman had 13 kills and eight digs against DePaul on Wednesday and posted a career-high 21 kills to go along with 24 digs on Saturday at Butler.
Grossman and the Musketeers return to action on Thursday, Oct. 18 at No. 10 Creighton. First serve is slated for 8 p.m. ET.
