CINCINNATI – Xavier University Athletics and Learfield's Xavier Sports Properties have once again partnered with Deer Park Roofing and People Working Cooperatively for the Raise the Roof Campaign. The campaign will support local veterans in need of roof repairs.
Throughout the 2018-19 men's basketball season, for every assist made by a Xavier player, Deer Park Roofing will make a donation to People Working Cooperatively's "Ramp it up for Veterans Program" assisting local low income and/or Veterans with a disability in need of roof repairs. In the 2017-18 basketball season, the Xavier Men's Basketball team accumulated a total of 579 assists. Each year, People Working Cooperatively assists more than 700 households providing services that not only address the needs of the structure, but also the health of the residents. This partnership allows PWC to assist even more veterans.
"PWC is thrilled to be a strategic partner with Xavier Athletics and Deer Park Roofing joining our efforts for the 2nd year to make a real difference in the lives of our most vulnerable veterans throughout the Greater Cincinnati area," said Ron Henlein, Director of Corporate/Community Partnerships with People Working Cooperatively.
"Deer Park Roofing believes in protecting what's important and we look at veterans as the embodiment of this principle. Veterans put everything on the line to protect, preserve, and defend our great country.
