Women's Cross Country Ranked 12th USTFCCCA Regional Poll

NEW ORLEANS - The Xavier women's cross country team was ranked 12th in the USTFCCCA Great Lakes Regional poll as announced on Monday afternoon.
The Musketeers were ranked 14th in the preseason coaches poll and were ranked four times during the regular season last year. Xavier ranked as high as 10th in the region twice in 2017.
Xavier most recently competed at the Queen City Invitational on Sept. 1, placing third out of 10 teams. The Musketeers were paced by Anna Kostarellis who placed third in the 5K race. Her time of 17:47.80 ranks ninth in program history.
The Musketeers return to action at the National Catholic Invitational on Sept. 14 in South Bend, Ind., and the Commodore Classic in Nashville, Tenn., on Sept. 15.
