WOMEN
"Today was the hardest test yet for Anna and she handled it well. Our goal was to finish in the top-20 so we set up a race plan to run with the lead pack through 4k, make a move around 4k when things tend to break open and attack the last 600 meters. I think 16th is outstanding against the competition she faced today and her time was really good on what is not a typically fast course. She felt comfortable and smooth through most of the race so I know she's going to have some great performances come championship time."
Â
"As a team, it wasn't our best day. We have a few things that we need to improve on but five of our top seven just had off days. Finally, I was really happy with Maddie Dingle and how well she ran to move up to the number two spot."
MEN
"On the men's side, I was happy with the effort but not the outcome. Our guys in the open race honestly ran better than the guys in the varsity race. They went into the race calm and confident and it showed in their performance in the open race. In the varsity race Lucas had a good day and made a huge improvement from where he's been."
