WOMEN
Our women's team had a great meet. It's the first time in team history that we've had an individual win a major cross country invitational and it's our best team finish at a major invitational.Â
Anna looked so strong today. She was in control the entire way and raced up to her national ranking. I wish she had more competition because I think she could have made a solid attempt at the course record.Â
The girls did a great job executing the race plan and really went for it today. They've been working so hard over the past three weeks and today was the reward. Although it was a really good day, I still think we can be better as a team. One of our top fell towards the end of the race and another had an off day so I think we can be even stronger in two weeks.
MEN
In the men's race, our times were fast but we didn't finish well as a team. The biggest thing we talked about after was racing to the level they practice. They've had some great workouts recently but it hasn't translated in race day.Â
