Volleyball Announces Signing Class of 2020

Hunter Fry, Delany Hogan and Stevie Wolf to join the Xavier family
CINCINNATI, OH - Xavier head volleyball coach Christy Pfeffenberger has as announced the addition of three players for the 2020 roster. The Musketeers have added Hunter Fry, Delaney Hogan and Stevie Wolf.
ON THE CLASS
"I am excited for this 2020 class to get in here and start working with this current group. We have set a great foundation and set of standards here that I know the 2020 class will work hard to uphold and strengthen."
HUNTER FRY
"It will be great getting Hunter in the gym next fall. She has grown so much in the past two years, and I know she hasn't hit her ceiling yet. She has a natural ability to play the game in multiple positions and has an ambition that is unparalleled."
DELANEY HOGAN
"I am ecstatic to have Delaney join our roster. She will add speed and quickness to our gym. She has a competitive spirit to her that will match our current roster and make us stronger."
STEVIE WOLF
"Stevie is just a delight to have around. She comes from a competitive background and has a team-first attitude. Adding her to our roster will strengthen our ball control and defensive demeanor."
Fry helped her high school team record 70 wins over four years. This included a 20-win season her senior year, that saw her hich school participate in the Division II OHSAA State Tournament. She finished her career with 894 kills, a .362 hitting percentage, 221 blocks and 120 service aces. In her senior year, Fry played 77 sets and accumulated 354 kills (4.60 per set) with a hitting percentage of .491 and 73 blocks (five solo).
Hogan led her high school to a 119-18 record over the course of her career, helping the team make four trips to the IHSAA Class 3A State Tournament. Their best finish came in the quarterfinals twice, and the team never failed to win at least two matches. Over her career, Hogan registered 810 kills at a .469 hitting percentage while tallying 175 blocks defensively. In her senior year, Hogan played 89 sets and scored 307 kills (3.40 per set). Her total was good fro a .516 hitting percentage.
Wolf helped her high school team post an 82-26 overall record with a 20-plus wins in her final three seasons, including a 25-3 record her senior season. She led her team to one district title and four OHSAA Division I State Tournament Quaterfinal appearances, including a runner-up finish. She finished her high school career with 1257 digs (3.80 per set) and 97 aces. In her senior season, Wolf played 89 sets and captured 373 digs (4.2 per set).
