Anna Kostarellis Posts Runner-Up Finish at BIG EAST Cross Country Championships

The Xavier women placed fifth in the team standings, while the men finished seventh
KENOSHA, Wis. - Junior Anna Kostarellis placed second in the women's race at the BIG EAST Championships on Saturday, highlighting the meet for the Musketeers. The meet was held at the Wayne E. Dannehl National Cross Country Course in Kenosha, Wis.
Kostarellis earns All-BIG EAST honors for the second time in as many seasons as she placed 18th at the meet a year ago. She was joined by Maya Hannagan on the all-conferene team as she placed 20th in the race.
Xavier had multiple all-conference selections on the women's team for the second straight year (2018 - Anna Kostarellis and Jenna Clayworth) and third time in program history (2015, 2018, 2019).
