Fitzpatrick and Tinsley Awarded BIG EAST Weekly Golf Honors

NEW YORK - Xavier women's golf added another pair of weekly honors after Mikayla Fitzpatrick and Morgan Tinsley were dubbed the BIG EAST Female Golfers of the Week.
Fitzpatrick and Tinsley both finished the Lady Boilermaker Classic tied for ninth. They both carded even-par (72) in the first round and then finished the second round with a 77 (+5). Fitzpatrick's first round marked her 12th round at par-or-better on the season. Tinsley ended the tournament tied for first in par-3 scoring at 2.75 (-2). The third round of the Lady Boilermaker Classic was cancelled after inclement weather entered the area.
The Musketeers are back in action this weekend at the BIG EAST Women's Golf championship. The conference tournament is hosted at Callawassie Island Golf Club in Okatie, S.C.Â
