The Musketeers open the 2019 season on Saturday, Aug. 31
NEW ORLEANS - Xavier women's cross country was ranked 13th in the USTFCCCA Great Lakes Regional Preseason Poll. The Musketeers were ranked five times in the regional poll last season.
Xavier returns its top five finishers from the BIG EAST Championships last season, highlighted by all-conference performers Jenna Clayworth and Anna Kostarellis. The Musketeers placed fifth at the conference championships.
The Musketeers open the 2019 season at the Queen City Invitational on Saturday, Aug. 31. The meet is being hosted by Northern Kentucky University at the Valhalla Cross Country Course in Highland Heights, Ky.
