CINCINNATI - Xavier cross country runner Anna Kostarellis ranks 37th nationally in the 2019 FloXC Top-255 Individual Rankings.Â
The junior has two top-five finishes this year. She led the Musketeers to a first-place finish at the Queen City Invitational, posting a school-record time of 17:07.80 in the 5K race.
Kostarellis also placed fifth at the Commodore Classic on Sept. 14, posting a personal-best time of 21:11.40 in the 6K race.
The Churchville, N.Y., native is one of only two BIG EAST female runners ranked in the top-40. Providence's Abbey Wheeler ranks 13th on the list.
