CINCINNATI - Xavier men's golf opens the 2021 season at the Pinehurst Intercollegiate on March 12-14. The three-day tournament is being hosted at Pinehurst No. 8.

Round one action gets underway on Friday morning.

NOTABLES

• Xavier is competing in the Health Plan Mountaineer Invitational for the second straight season. The Musketeers posted their highest team finish of the 2019-20 season at the tournament.

• The Musketeers competed in six tournaments in 2019-20 before the COVID-19 pandemic ended the campaign.

• Xavier will also be playing in the Pinehurt Intercollegiate and Robert Kepler Intercollegiate for the second time in the last three seasons. The BIG EAST Championships are being held in Okatie, S.C., for the sixth straight season.

• The Musketeers return seven letterwinners from the 2019-20 season, including a trio of seniors in Martin Jaramillo, Ben Pirro and Imaad Qureshi. The lone newcomer is Australian native, Jack Korotcoff.
