Meet continues Saturday morning

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Xavier men's and women's swimming opened up action in a tri-meet with Indiana State and Missouri State at the Vigo County Aquatic Center on Friday evening.

The meet will continue on Saturday morning with events sent to begin at 10:00 a.m.

WOMEN'S NOTABLE

Kali Fischer, Alison Herman, Taylor Hogan and Clara Keiser led off the meet with a time of 3:50.47 in the 400 medley relay.
Alison Herman picked up a second place finish in the 400 IM with a time of 4:30.83.
Kali Fischer finished second in the 100 back with a time of 56.13.
Erin Ritz posted the top time by a Musketeer in the 200 free with a time of 1:55.45.
Lydia Schaeffer's time of 25.29 led all Musketeers in the 50 free.
Taylor Hogan's time fo 57.20 in the 100 fly was fastest among the Musketeers.
Clara Keiser led Xavier in the 100 free with a time of 53.21.
Kali Fischer's time of 56.13 in the 100 back was the fastest by a Musketeer.
Emma Kauffeld had a time of 5:10.93 to led Xavier in the 500 free.
Julianne Libler led the Musketeers in the 100 breast with a time of 1:04.96 to place fourth.
Xavier closed out the meet with a time of 1:36.76 for Kali Fischer, Lorelei Gaertner, Clara Keiser and Maureen Cummins in the 200 free relay to finish third.
Xavier trails Missouri State, 168-48, and Indiana State,166-51, after 12 events, including two divin competitions Xavier did not compete in .

MEN'S NOTABLE

Alex Sironen, Cameron Weese, Roark Lundal and Christian Thomas opened up the meet with a second-place finish in the 400 medley relay with a time of 3:21.54.
Andrew Martin took the top spot in the 200 free with a time of 1:37.83.
Jack Parker's time of 4:03.31 in the 400 IM was good for first place.
Roark Lundal won the 100 fly with a time of 49.43.
Ethan Wing led Xavier in the 50 free with a time of 21.39, placing second.
Jared Ritz's time of 47.57 in the 100 free led the Musketeers and placed second.
Christian Thomas led Xavier with a time fo 49.77 in the 100 back, finishing second.
Brett Wilson led Xavier with a time of 4:45.97 in the 500 free.
Davis Klein posted the top time by a Musketeer in the 100 breast at 57.65.
Ethan Wing, Christian Thomas, Ben Quon and Andrew Martin posted a time of 1:22.58 in the 200 free relay to win the event.
Xavier trails Missouri State 126-91 after 12 events, including two diving events that the Musketeers didn't participate in.
