Musketeers Place Seventh at BIG EAST Championsips

BOWLING GREEN, Fla. - Xavier men's golf finished seventh at the BIG EAST Championships. The three-day tournament was held at the Streamsong Resort (Blue Course) in Bowling Green, Fla.

The Musketeers posted a 54-hole score of 895 (+31). UConn won the team title, shooting five-over-par (896).

Butler's Michael Casino and Marquette's Hunter Eichhorn were co-champs as both players hit seven-under-par (209). Casino won the sudden death playoff that lasted three holes to earn the conference's automatic individual invitation to the NCAA Championship.
